Into the Woods

Have you all seen pictures of this building in Spain?
If you were out for a walk in the woods and happened upon this from the wrong side, you might not even notice it. Even if you did, it would just seem like perhaps a greenhouse. In reality, it’s a stunning piece of modern architecture.
The way that it is integrated into the landscape while still maintaining the integrity of the natural environment is inspiring.
I think I would definitely prefer going to work in this office than in a gray cubical nightmare.

Floating Lake House

Doug and Becca Worple's floating lake house not only has amazing views, but also clever details like the geometric pattern of holes on the outside stairs. The holes were generated by a software script and allow rain to safely slip through to the lake below. Creative design on an amazing landscape makes a great daydreaming combination.

What a cozy spot, I love it!!!

I think this would be a great way to rehab an attic space without having to spend too much money on construction. What a cozy spot to curl up with a pot of tea and read a book.
