Cheerful; mirthful

                                    

If I had to pick a color to associate with cheerful and happy,  it would easily be yellow. Spring is here and the smiley faces. Those are two examples that immediately come to mind.

Using yellow in design can instantly create a cheerful, happy atmosphere.

My daughter got a one yellow wall to cheer her room up..it's nice!!!
